WEAPONS SPLIT 5 / 5 / 4 / 4
The 18 weapons are already four archetypes in order: blunt (Warhammer→Club), blade (Katana→Short Sword), wand (Ghost Wand→Wand), tome (Grimoire→Book). Nobody had to design that.
Your Robe stops being a text card and becomes a fighter. All eight slots are read off chain and turned into real combat stats — then staked, one on one, for actual money.
Loot never had stats. Dom left them out on purpose, so everyone else could interpret the blank space. This is our interpretation — and it does not invent anything. The class system was already sitting in the arrays.

Every armour slot is three material bands — metal, hide, cloth. Metal buys health and costs speed; cloth is the reverse. Chest lists cloth first, which is exactly why Divine Robe is index 0.
The 0–20 greatness on each item scales that slot's contribution, and 19–20 — the named items — carry a visible mark into the arena. Your best piece is legible across the floor.
Stats are a pure function of your token id, computed from the same keccak draw the contract runs. Recompute your own from your bag and check ours — the draw is public.
We solved the constants against all 8,000 Robes until the four class medians landed on top of each other. Your Robe decides how you fight, never whether you can win.
| Class | Robes | Median power | p10 | p90 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BLUNT | 2,169 | 42.06 | 34.87 | 50.34 |
| BLADE | 2,255 | 42.08 | 34.76 | 50.32 |
| WAND | 1,757 | 42.10 | 34.33 | 50.52 |
| TOME | 1,819 | 42.13 | 34.52 | 50.19 |
Collection-wide the strongest Robe is 1.86× the weakest at p99/p01. Enough that your bag matters, not enough that it buys the fight. Divine Robe holders sit at 0.99× the collection median — coveted for what it is, not for a stat line.
Real ids, real draws, live in your browser. This is the exact function the arena uses.
524 of 8,000 — 6.55% of the collection. In the Proving Ground it is impossible to miss: light shafts, a shifting gold weave, a ground halo, a brighter crown and motes rising off the shoulders. Everyone on the floor knows who is wearing one.
That is deliberate. Handing 6.55% of the collection a power edge would break the class parity and turn the most coveted item in Loot into pay-to-win.
Divine Robe was never a stat line. It was a gated Discord channel and a room you could only enter by proving your bag. It was status. So it stays status — the loudest thing in the arena, and exactly as survivable as a Shirt.
Every weapon in the collection is drawn individually — not four archetype stand-ins. A Warhammer reads as a warhammer across the floor, and a Grave Wand's skull is visible at a glance. Items with a suffix carry that suffix's colour in their glow, so "of Fury" never looks like "of Protection".
Both fighters put up the same amount of $LOOT. The survivor takes 80% of the pot, 10% burns to the dead address, 10% to treasury. Those splits are constants — nobody can change them.
The server validates every swing and signs exactly one voucher when a duel ends. A modified client cannot pay itself because it has no signature.
Nobody joins within the hour? Cancel and take your stake back. Matched but never settled? Either side refunds after 30 minutes. There is no sweep, no owner withdraw, no pause.
The pit checks you hold the Robe you enter with, and writes both token ids on chain. A bag you do not own cannot be staked, and the same bag can never take both seats.
Read straight from your wallet. Every Robe in the bag is a different fighter, and switching is free.
Practice against a construct built from a real token id before you ever stake. Same stats, same numbers, no money.
Open a duel at any size, or join one on the board. Three minutes, one survivor.
It rides the lobby you already walk through. Others are on the floor with you, watching.
Duels waiting for a challenger, read straight off the pit contract. Take one and you fight the holder who opened it — winner takes 80% of the pot, 10% burns, 10% to treasury.
reading the chain…
Player versus player is up. Connect a wallet and the arena reads your bags straight off chain; pick one and it becomes your fighter. Hit Find a Match to be paired with whoever else is waiting, or Duel a Friend to get a private link — send it over and you two fight each other. The relay owns the health and scores every swing, so both screens agree on who won.
No stake yet, and no money in play. Just the fight, and a record of it.
